This means we are able to select the exact number and type of equipment to precisely match the needs of the event in any location worldwide.
Part of the benefit of using sailing for team and leadership development is that people need to 'muck in' and share some of the domestic tasks involved in running a boat. This normally involves taking overnight accommodation on board a yacht where there may be some cabin sharing. That said, we do not pack people in to the yacht's maximum capacity and our assessment of a yacht's overnight capacity is well below the manufacturer's design capacity. Here is a small sample of the type of boats and other equipment that we offer. For larger teams, we simply multiply the number of boats to accommodate all the participants.
Premium Yacht - Jenneau Sun Odyssey 54 or similar. Suitable for 7 or 8 people on an overnight basis. Max capacity - 12 people
Bavaria 46/50 or similar. Suitable for 7 or 8 people on an overnight basis. Max capacity - 10/12 people
Bavaria 37 or similar. Suitable for around 5 people overnight. Max Capacity - 8 people.
Rigid Inflatable Boats
Scorpion 8.1, 275 HP Mercury Outboard or similar, 45knots +
Sports Keelboats - Laser SB3 or similar. Stable, yet exhilarating.
And it doesn't stop there. We also use a multitude of other resources to create a unique development experience. From bicycles to bi-planes and canal boats to choppers - the only limitation is your imagination
All boats, vehicles, other resources and forms of transport are supplied with comprehensive safety equipment. All specialised personal safety and protective equipment will be provided and participants will receive instruction on its use. We'll also let you know what other clothing and personal belongings would be useful for the particular activity.
