Catering
On sailing events, we will ensure that your boat is stocked ("victualled" in nautical terms) to meet your requirements. A selection of quality snacks and hot and cold drinks will be supplied as standard. We will arrange meals on board as you wish - either to cook yourselves as part of the development experience - or be 'catered' with minimum preparation needed. We make sure that the chosen venue is well researched and arrange good restaurants when shoreside eating is required.

Our association with Eagles, ensures that catering is high quality and ranges from a selection of sandwiches to hot meals of several courses.

Meeting and Other Facilities
Whatever the event, there is invariably some form of introduction or review, formal or informal. The less formal ones work well on board, but if you wish to do a more formal session, or indeed, augment a sailing event with other training sessions or business meetings, we have access to a range of shore-side facilities in close proximity to the boats.

And for non-sailing events, we will also be happy to source suitable venues for your event should you wish,.

Logistics and Event Planning
We are also happy to take the hassle out of organising any other aspects of your event. We can liaise with attendees to arrange dates, organise travel, transport, restaurants, catering and accommodation. You can be sure that the event will be tailored for your particular requirements in every way. Our corporate experience means that we can also give advice on how to justify expenditure on development events and demonstrate a "Return on Investment".

Also, for non-sailing events, if your requirements become more ambitious, we have associations with experienced event and venue management organisations such as Venue Plus who will help us bring another dimension to your event.

Risk Assessment
Some organisations will need some form of formal Risk Assessment for an activity based development event. We have experience of these and will be more than happy to provide templates and work with clients to meet the needs of the organisation. Alternatively, we can assist to fulfil the needs of your company's own risk assessment scheme.

With the safeguards of our skippers and activity experts, our activities can be challenging, yet safe. Merry Marine carry public liability insurance and personal insurance can be achieved as simply as taking out a travel insurance policy.
